The day you become hoggish, and wish to get "lucky", is the point you squander all of your money. Seems a bit absurd, but it seems to be accurate. The only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t worry about squandering it. I headed to the the casino the other night with 20 dollars. I could not care any less about losing it, who cares about 20 dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 profit in just one hour!
A different occassion I headed to the casino with my buddy Chris. I took in one hundred dollars that I couldn’t bear to lose. I got hoggish, I got worried, and I ended up betting too much and losing it in 32 minutes! The lesson my friends is do not bet more than you are able to squander. If you do not care about losing, you have a greater opportunity of profiting big!
How else can you improve your chances of profiting at Roulette other than setting a budget? Never wager on single numbers! Yes, they hit every once in a while, but they do not come up enough to guarantee a constant profit. Just wager on 1:1 wagers for example black, red, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets for example first 12, second dozen, third 12, etc Wager on odds that pay relatively high.
With the basic rules covered, how else might we further increase our chances of succeeding at Roulette? By shifting probability into our ally, instead of our enemy. "You cannot win at Roulette", my friend Bob would say to me. "It is absolutely arbitrary because any number can come up". Absolutely, my friend Mike certainly has a point, although at the same time, he is overlooking an important aspect of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red could be landed on 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
